Polls, Public Consultations and Local Authorities Who Have Said "No".

It would appear that WF is "universally" unpopular. The proof?  We have compiled 3 lists:

  • Newspaper and radio polls showing that in every case, respondents were against WF.

  • Public Consultations. Just the four so far and in each case, the public vote was against WF.

  • Local Authorities which have declined WF or stopped the programme. A footnote needs to be added to this section: all the original towns selected for the 1955 "demonstration" trials had, by 1991, ceased fluoridating.
